Hey, look, I appear to have developed MAD PRECOGNITIVE POWERS*.
Example A: I went to see Kate & Anna McGarrigle last night (I hadn't thought I'd be able to go, but we got off choir early, so I got to see most of it, hoorah), and at one point between songs I wondered whether they'd play "Dancer With Bruised Knees" because I'd never heard them sing it live. The next song was introduced as "an old one we've just started playing again on this tour", and was THAT VERY SONG.
Example B: Last night I had a dream about Starbucks opening in Dublin and trying to persuade someone that they were really evil and run forced labour camps (note: I do not actually think this). What did I see on
wwhyte's phone blog this morning but a picture of ... Dublin city centre's first Starbucks.
Now, if I concentrate really hard on the lottery numbers....
*Yes, I know they're just coincidences, but humour me, right?

And speaking of work, I am clearly doomed, as that Starbucks is right across the road . . .

I'm really glad I went - I managed to hear lots of my favourites, even though I missed the first fifteen minutes (oh, and was seated beside an older gent who was practically bouncing up and down with excitement and periodically tried singing along, he was a tad distracting). Well worth the crazed dash across town from Donnybrook.
