Just heard that the excellent Mr. DJ /Rupture (no, I've no idea why he's named himself after a directory either) will apparently be playing on May 13th in the Belvedere. He was GREAT the last time I heard him, so I reckon it should be top. You can hear some of the kind of thing he does here (everything from ragga to Miriam Makeba to sheer deranged noise, mixed on three decks).

Plus he is a big ride.

ETA: Jasus. Just listening to his Minesweeper Suite mix. I'd forgotten there was a bit in it that's like being repeatedly kicked in the head. In a really good way.
